When the lazy days of summer turn into the crazy (busy!) days of fall it seems like there’s just no time for breakfast!
Ditch the excuses this season and try some of our easy and healthy breakfast recipes that you can make time for even on the most busy of mornings.
An all time favorite that’s blowing up our Insta feed right now – simply mash a ripe avocado, add a little spice (like sea salt, fresh black pepper and ground cumin) and spread on whole wheat toast. If you’re extra hungry, add a poached egg on top!
Smoothies are the best because they give you a chance to use extra produce before it goes bad. Just throw some of your favorite fruits and veggies, a handful of ice, a scoop of protein powder and some low-fat or coconut milk in a blender. Voila! Breakfast perfection.
Fun, fast and delicious, these roll-ups are perfect for a filling breakfast on-the-go. Just scramble an egg, place it on whole wheat wrap, layer spinach and turkey, roll it up tight and cut it in half.
Add a sprinkle of low-fat cheese or avocado for a creamier bite, or personalize it with your favorite veggies!
